• PHYS1080 (2u, sem 2) Stars, Galaxies and the Cosmos Handbook entry
This introductory course does not require a physics background. It replaces PHYS2081.
• PHYS2082 (2u, sem 2) Astrophysics & Space Science II Handbook entry
This course requires a physics background. It replaces PHYS2080.
• PHYS3080 (2u, sem 2) Astrophysics III Handbook entry
This course requires a physics background.
• MATH4105 (2u, sem 2, even years only) General Relativity Handbook entry

Perhaps the most useful textbook used in these courses is
‘An Introduction to Modern Astrophysics’ by Bradley Carroll and Dale Ostlie (pictured).
