March 2005 - BEC up and running again in its new lab
A fire in August 2004 took the experiment from
nanoKelvin to kiloKelvin range.
Paper on foil-based atom chip for BEC accepted for
publication in J. Phys. B (17/06/04)
BEC was observed for the first time at UQ on the morning
of Friday 20th February 2004. This is only the second BEC in
Australia, and the third in the southern hemisphere!
