Physics Poetry Night
It is a long and honourable tradition for PAIN to hold a poetry night each year, from which are produced some fine pieces of modern literature - however, the vast majority are somewhat more... forgettable, shall we say?
BUT these are often the most fun, and almost always maul literary convention in ingeniously horrible ways - if you miss this night, you'll be missing some of the more amusing works you might ever come across.
You don't have to write about physics, in fact it's highly recommended if you can make fun of it in some small way, and there will *probably* be prizes for those who are most entertaining.
A most entertaining evening, one you shouldn't miss.
You can see some of the finer entries from previous years on the
Poetry page.

Microwaving Magic
Warning: Putting things like lightbulbs and CDs in your microwave can be *awesome*. But be warned, they sometimes do things like explode or catch fire. Which is also awesome, but much harder to clean up. This was discovered first-hand last Friday night, as some pretty strange things were microwaved to their breaking points.
