Contact Us
Each of the PAIN exec have their contact emails listed on the
Executives page, but if unsure of who
to talk to, if it's about error bars and events, email the Social Convenors. If it's about the website or mailing list, email the Webmaster. If it's about PAIN in general, usually the President or Secretary are good bets.
Important: If you have a question to ask the exec, please don't email pain @ physics, this will spam the entire mailing list and annoy everyone.
Subscribing
To subscribe to the PAIN mailing list, you can either visit the subscription page
here (this method allows you to pick a password to change
your subscription details) or send an email - subject and email content don't matter - to
pain-join@physics.uq.edu.au (This method will auto-generate you a password).
You'll then get a confirmation email to your nominated address; to complete subscription, simply click the link that appears in the email and follow the prompts.
To unsubscribe or change your settings, go to the
same page and enter your address in the bottom box to bring up your subscription options.
If you have questions about the mailing list, email me at
cstroh@physics.uq.edu.au.
Chris.
Notices
A notice is for all the members of the club (and anyone who wanders along and finds the site), so if you're going to submit one, please make it about something useful or important. No junk messages.
To submit a notice to the site, email me at
cstroh@physics.uq.edu.au.
Write the notice exactly as you want it to appear (if you want dot points, put a dash (-) at each dot point), with "notice request" somewhere in the Subject, as well as a title for your notice.
If it passes the junk filter, I'll post it up as soon as I can, and send you a notification email.
Contact us if you have any enquires or comments about the society, what events we have or the information we display on the site.
