Day 8

George really liked the view from his room at Port Macquarie. Here is George looking out of the window at the view. "Wow! What an awesome view!" exclaimed George.

This is another one of those should-be-patented panorama shots. This the view of Port Macquarie from George's motel window.

Now we see George in front of the Big Banana at Coffs Harbour. George didn't stay here long as he wanted to get back to Brisbane.

"Woohoo! I'm back in Queensland!" yelled George. Note the QLD licence plates on the car in front, and the sign saying "Brisbane" mostly obscured by George's head.

"Now I'm back in Brisbane!" said George. One can just see the word Indooroopilly behind George's neck. George was so excited to be almost home at this stage that he had a habit of getting in the way in photos.

"Almost home!" yelled George as he was about to turn the corner into Burbong Street. Behind George is the Lexus dealership where the turnoff to George's house is.

After 3,247 km George was really tired.

Nevertheless, he had had a really cool time and was very happy to back home again.

After unpacking and dumping all of his dirty washing into a pile in the corner, George finally flopped down on his bed to get some well-earnt and well-needed sleep. Goodnight George!
