I am a third year physics PhD student at the University of Queensland.
My main research interests are quantum information and quantum computation. In particular I
have been working on the Kane solid state quantum computing proposal.
Introduction
Charles received a Bachaelor of Physics (Honours, first class) from the Australian National University in 2000.
He subsequently worked in the private sector as a computer programmer for Aspect computing, mainly working on
the Hansard Production System. In 2003 he joined the Center for Quantum Computer Technology and the
Quantum Information Science Initiative at the University of Queensland, where he is currently a PhD student.
