Welcome to my website! I am an Australian Research Council (ARC) Future Fellow and an Associate Professor in theoretical physics in the School of Mathematics and Physics at the University of Queensland (UQ). I am a founding Chief Investigator of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Quantum-Atom Optics (ACQAO) which ran its scientific program from 2003 to 20010. Starting from 2011, the UQ node of the centre operates as the Quantum Atom Optics theory group which currently includes 9 staff memebrs and over 10 postgraduate students. The group interacts closely with the experimental Atom Optics group that has a similar number of staff and students.
