Brief Academic Bio

2008 -- present   postdoctoral research fellow in the Quantum Optics and Quantum Information group (QOQI), working within both the Centre for Quantum Computation and Communication Technology (CQC2T) and the School of Mathematics and Physics at the University of Queensland.

2007 -- 2008   postdoctoral research fellow in the Quantum Information Science Theory Group (QIST), at theNational Institute of Informatics, Tokyo, Japan.

2003 -- 2007   Ph.D from the Univeristy of Waterloo, Canada in Theoretical Physics, working within the Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC) and the Department for Physics and Astronomy (GWP). Thesis title: "Investigating Photonic Quantum Computation". Advisor: Prof. Raymond Laflamme.

2001 -- 2003   M.Sc from the Univeristy of Waterloo, Canada in Theoretical Physics, working within the Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC) and the Department for Physics and Astronomy (GWP).

2000   B.Sc(Honours First Class) from the Univeristy of Queensland, in Theoretical Physics, working within the Department of Physics. Thesis title:"Teleportation in a Non-Classical Interferometer". Advisor: Prof. Tim Ralph.
