Some answers to Abell 7th ed:
PHYS3180 FINAL EXAM INFO
Hey, this subject evolved from PH223, PH224 and a little from PH206 and more recently PH317 which is the same as PHYS3180. So I can give you some exam extracts and you can presume that the '3080 exam will follow along similar lines.
The astrophysics (monday, wednesday lectures) is similar to PH224 with Galactic and Cosmology deleted.
Here is the old 1998 PH224 exam.
Here is the old 1996 PH224 exam.
Here they are, words actually cut from the PHYS3180 2002 final exam (100 multiple-choice questions) and placed in alphabetical order. You can bet that if you go into the final exam knowing the meaning of all these puppies you are really going to sail through the exam! Not all words in the exam are in this list and many do not pertain to the correct (multiple choice) answer but no "red herrings" have been added. All these words/acronyms will be there! 2002 June 6.
