Ken Baldwin awarded Barry Inglis Medal for 2010

In conjunction with the celebration of World Metrology Day, Professor Ken Baldwin has been awarded the Barry Inglis Medal for 2010. The Barry Inglis Medal is an annual award that celebrates outstanding achievement in measurement research and/or excellence in practical measurement by an individual or group in the fields of academia, research or industry in Australia. The Medal is in honour of Dr Barry Inglis who was the inaugural Chief Metrologist and Chief Executive of the National Measurement Institute.
World Metrology Day commemorates the anniversary of the signing of the Metre Convention on 20 May 1875.
